Hi, I’m Dwight.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Biola University in La Mirada, California.  For over two decades, I have lived in the Birmingham, Alabama area.

In my day job, I’ve lead FinTech consulting teams at FIS, primarily focused on Wealth and Retirement Administration projects.  I’ve been working in retirement technology for 30+ years, and I love it.  This is not my job; it is my calling.  It doesn’t make sense to any of my family or friends, but I don’t care.  In my job, I’ve indirectly been able to positively impact millions of people, although they will never know it.  A summary of my professional work history can be found on the career page.

I obviously don’t spend a lot of time on this site, but it’s a convenient way for people to reach me. I gladly accept connections from my colleagues and work-friends through LinkedIn. Although it is an uncommon name, there are other people on the planet that share my name.  If you are one of the few, please say hello.  Google tells me that at least one person named “Dwight Barrows” has had some legal issue in Vermont, but I am not and have never met him.
